Started in 2008 by Sean Crawford and Paul Moretti, Team Mizuno USA "Roadrunners" is a competitive travel baseball club which is affiliated with New England Elite Baseball League. Team Mizuno USA is a recognized 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. We strongly believe it is as important to give back to the communities that support us as it is to train our athletes for the next level. Players should have the opportunity to grow as athletes and reach their full potential as well as grow to become respectful young men. We believe we can offer players from Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire an opportunity to play at a high level of baseball at a reasonable price. All our athletes received 35-50 hours of indoor training in the off season. The athletes work out with their teams one night during the week and one day on the weekend in the off season. Incorporated into each practice along with the coaching staff is one of our professional trainers. Our trainers are very intelligent about the game of baseball and know what is needed to get our athletes to the next level. All this training prepares the athletes to face some of the best talent throughout New England and the country. Our team play in some of the most competitive travel tournaments in all of the east coast including Diamond Nation, Baseball Heaven, The Ripken Experience as well as Cooperstown Baseball World.
One feature that our program has is we train at our own private indoor training facility located in Plymouth Massachusetts. Our athletes never have to wait to use a cage during practice or our parents never have to worry if the facility has been doubled booked and practice will be canceled. Our facility is also available to our Team Mizuno athletes and their families when there is not a scheduled practice. This is offered at no additional charge or additional membership fee. This allows our athletes the ability to work on their game on their own time and practice what they have learned from their coaches and our professional staff. Our facility is also where we offer several clinics in the off season to our players at no additional charge.
Home fields in the baseball are as important as having an indoor training facility. We have obtained our home fields by building strong relationships with local towns, schools and youth programs all across Massachusetts. Each of our teams has a home field and is used regularly. For some of our teams they may have multiple home fields depending on the age group.
